misuzuki, i love the looks of that bike sitting that high. i dont have the wide axle, but i still may go for that just for the high stance.

i got my engine pulled down to the base case today. i was astounded. it was perfect. you could still see some of the factory hone. it must have been babied. the piston looked new aside from carbon on the top. no visible wear ANYWHERE inside that thing. the cam chain and followers all looked new though so it must have had the head pulled. i was more than happy to see it was in such good shape. i should have the new rings ordered within the week. hopefully ill hear fire sometime next week and get that baby rebuild and back in the frame.

 

Thanks twinstacks I like it too but its raining in Michigan and I'm ready to ride so I can really test it out...

 

Ugg... another problem, oil is coming out the exhaust where the heder meets the muffler.

whats your guys opinion? i do realize that this is 200 more cc's the the 230 and its efi but do you think its worth a try? its a exhaust resonator. suppose to lower noise and give better performance
