That's really weird they insist it should work. I wonder what engine it was made for

Anyway, longer studs shouldn't have been an issue... they just screw in n out n couldn't cost more than a few bucks. Oh well... so whats the plan now?

We replaced those studs on my buddy's 230 cause he stripped the threads on them...all I can say is that it was not easy and I pulled out a lotta words I don't use very often lol

Sometimes they can be hard to get out but sometimes they come out when you take the exhaust off when you dont want them to. I guess it just depends. If you take the nut from the other stud and jam the 2 nuts together, it should break the stud loose and screw on out. But if the threads are stripped, that probably wouldn't work. In that case I would use vice grips to get them out and maybe heat the aluminum with a torch (or just ride the quad until it gets hot).

Well the plan is to keep it stock for now i guess. Dg is the only one that makes exhaust systems.

that was the dg you got? i ordered a dg aluminum from denniskirk and it was a perfect fit. the only issue i had was the bigger header pipe is close to the oil fill cap and im going to have to grind the edges of it down so it doesnt get in a bind taking it out. no real issues. i love mine.

I think cobra has one. I don't like them but if your stock exhaust needs replacing it may be worth a try.

i think he took a supertrapp for a warrior and cut it off the pipe it was on, and welded it together with his 230 muffler. It sounded pretty good, i believe theres a video of it on the vault
