Ahhh, yeah I understand that. Lots of dishonest people around. There's a guy on eBay selling reman lt230s engines. I don't know anything about him, other then he's got a listing up. Just an FYI, in case you ever want to give it a little more pep.

i guess i should have asked this first. since i am gonna race this, will i really be happy with it since it is an auto-clutch? can an auto-clutched quad be competative racing?

how do you get the front sprocket cover off? 3 bolts hold it on, i have 2 of them out but the other is down in there and the hole doesnt have enough room between the wall of the hole and the bolt head to get a socket on it. anyone have any ideas?

I think you would be fine sticking with the factory arms and putting the money into a set of really good shocks.

If possible, I would skip your engine and go for one of the following.

Lt230s (it has a clutch)
Lt250s ( also has a clutch)
Lt250r (the two stroke engine)

the shocks are an absolute but i was hoping to have a little wider front end and the only way to do that with out changing the geometry is with a-arms, i think. would love to just go with another engine. will be hard to talk the wife into it. took me 2 years to talk her into letting me spend the $550 to ge this one. i do have time but want it done by this time next to start the racing season. since the q-racer is wider it would be nice if those worked.
