That sounds like a decent plan.

Thanks, I found one on ebay for $28/shipped. That's not too bad.

About 2/3rds of the way through dismantling her, I realized that I'm taking a leap of faith that the new engine will be as described.

Fancy looking rear shock you have there. Is that stock in 88?

The shock is from a Raptor 350.

The spring is factory, since the Raptor 350 spring was way too stiff for me.

Here's a little write-up that I did. The yamaha holes are not the same size as the suzuki holes, so you will have to find a way to fix that. I used spacers, and put the part numbers on that page.

So, The picture above are the plastics I bought from Amazon. I returned those, and bought another set of whites from a different company. That company only shipped half of the fender (right side). On top of that it was slightly yellowed as well. So, I returned that set and ordered yet ANOTHER set of whites from DennisKirk.com. Those just came today and are yellowed too! Son of a bitch.

I've decided to say screw white. I just ordered a set of black fronts. I actually think it will looked decent with white rear plastics and black fronts. If not, I'll have to waste another $200 on some black rears some time down the road.

Anyway, yeah. Just needed to vent.
