Well, the tie-rod guy hasn't responded all week so I opened a dispute. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Hey Randy, how thick was this case saver you made? Did the plastic cover go over it?

Also, does anyone have the one from Bike Bandit on their wheeler? How is it? </end quote></div>

Its about 3/16. You might have to use longer bolts, but the plastic thingy goes back on fine.

The oem one from bikebandit works just as well, but its made for a 12T sprocket. And its probably a little thinner than 3/16. I think I'm running the oem one with my 11T sprocket right now.</end quote></div>

Does it have the steel one stock? I thought it just came with that plastic guard?

Any other parts you guys can think of that I should look at if I put an order into bike bandit? So when I do the swing-arm bearings, which parts do I get? And is Bike Bandit the best place to get them?</end quote></div>

cheapcycleparts have the cheapest prices, but they rape you on the shipping... Plus make you be home to sign for it.

That place you was dealing with should have oem parts too. I forgot the name.

I don't know what parts you need, but it doesn't matter... You'll think of more stuff to buy later. [img][/img]

Brakes, chains, sparkplugs, bearings, jets... Always some stuff to throw in the buggy to get the deal on shipping, lol.</end quote></div>

Has anyone tried either of these? I used Pivot Works on my a-arms and it was a nice kit.

Oh, and just as an FYI, the guy I'm having problems with on eBay is ospturbo, and I think he has other parts listed for LTs, so be cautious.

Paypal has deliberated already and they said I get a full refund, but I have to pay to ship it back!?! That's awfully dumb.

Just checked the old lady's 93 "e" no chain roller on it except the one on the swingarm pivot or whatever it is called. The place Randy made bigger.

Everything else looks like the 87 and later swinger.

Don't buy one, they are WAY too easy to make! I made several out out those cheap plastic kitchen cutting boards, several cause of the many sprocket changes!
Same material that chain "sliders" are made of and if you look @ vinces old site, his were the same.
Even if you made one out of super thin metal, it will serve its purpose ccos occurs, it will takr the punishment b4 the cast aluminum case.

I can't remember if I used pivot works or allballs when i did my wolverine bearings? Pivot works carries a decent name from what I have seen?

That is usually the case with disputes, you get your money but you have to give back the product you do not like. The shipping sucks.

Just Randy, the jury is still out with what I do with that roller or any slide. you are probably right on keeping as much as necessary off of the S's. How cool would it be to drink some beers or sake with the LT Engineer/s?

Good idea, I'll just do that. You can find them at the dollar store!

Does Vince have anything left or is he fully sold out? Why has he stopped selling parts?
