That is, unless P.G. can conjure some miracle on the one he knows about. You go boy

I have a machine shop that could do the work for a song if I could get my hands on the kit.

Anyway. Great to hear from you w.b.69.

Alright folks, just talked to my machinist, picking up the 273cc monster tomorrow (after 3 1/2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!) Assembly begins.........
But, in my business, I am at my long working hours from now till late August. I have more than just putting an engine together on my plate right now.
I have a feeling I will be reading more than typing (your welcome!!! ) So........... wish me luck! This weekend I am passing up my 3rd deadline for riding! I am supposed to be heading to Sandmountain as we speak! It must be addiction when you are passing up 4 days of fun, on a 1 1/2year old quad(my 400ex), your wife and kid were fired up to go, but you can't, cause your 21 year old azz "girl" ain't ready yet.

They give me a lil grief, but they understand. Ain't life grand!!!!?????

Not a bad price for the kit at FST, but when you go to 273, that carb from vince will not make it, 32mm or nothing from what I have read here.... once again, I am a parts replacer, not a mechanic.

If im not misstaken. To go with the 273 option you have to lean over into the 250 realm. Dosent the 250 have a larger piston pin than the 230? This would mean that the piston rod would need swapping. This, in itself, is no problem for those "in the know". But would create a hurtle for newbies.

Just a thought.

Correct. I think the highest in "230" land is 260cc. 273cc is morphed from 250 land.
