250r? 2 Stroke? maybe in a straight sprint............ But the powerband is to close for a win over our beasts in the turns! Now what I have read about the upcoming LTZ250... time will tell.............BigMc may not be a sh%t stirrer by nature, but I sure am! I'm not arrogant, just confident!

I'm working on a real "project" 230s and just wanted to show-off the only pic I've taken so far. The bike is 50% torn apart right now, I'll get a photo of that this weekend. But as I remove parts I have been cleaning them up, sand blasting, powder coating or painting. I just got into powder coating and it is incredible, never thought I could get the kind of finishes that have been coming out of my little oven.

I can't upload pics to my gallery here yet, so you'll have to click here to see this photo. It is one front and the rear shock that is now finished. That rear shock used to look as bad, if not worse than the front shock still does. The spring, retaining ring, and the large adjustment ring were sandblasted and powdercoated. The shock body can't be put in the oven so it was blasted and painted. The small adjusting ring is aluminum so it was just blasted and left as is.

I can hardly wait to get it done. if everything comes out as good as this, which so far it has been, it should look better than new when finished.

Ive been thinking about the lt250r for some time now. IF/when the ATC 250r ever gets finished, I was thinking about an 85 LT250r. Or better yet, a matching 87
Talk about a full house. That would be cool.

Oh.
I forgot, The August addition of Dirt Wheels has the new 2008 Yamaha Raptor 250 in it.
5 speed manuel with NO reverse. It should shread the Z250. I wonder how it will hold up to the 230"s.....

Life is good.
