I also wanted to post for those wondering, a Warrior Shock is a direct bolt in. Rides like a dream now.

Tends to be quiet around this time of year. Everyone's enjoying what's left of summer.

I've tried a China vehicle...Bought one of the $200 pocket dirt bikes off of eBay and it ran three times. Save your money and get an ancient Japanese or American bike.

Ohh man gold all the way!

I'd check Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain for wheels. If you wait till you need tires you might catch a good deal and have them mounted. Tire shops are going to charge you a decent amount of change to put ATV tires on rims.

I had it rebuilt locally (In Calgary, Alberta - Canada) by a place called Bata Electric. He rewound my primary coil (in fact rebuilt it because it was broken) for $100. He said he could do the lighting coil for another $100 but I said dont worry about it (because I can buy it and bolt it on for less).

The bike holds an idle now, but it burns oil and has low compression (but enough to start easily and it runs fairly good). I was planning a 250 build in the future, but I noticed that the casing was cracked a little inside and someone had used JB weld to hold it together. So Im just going to do a top end rebuild on it maybe in a couple months. It will be my beater quad because a mint condition one came up for sale, that I might buy in the future. Start my own little fleet.
