i have a question..... i have a 87 lt 230s, the shift linkage just fell apart... need to fix it ... but would rather have it better then the stock crap design...

this idea that is in the vault looks good, but how do you get the bolt with the nut or threaded rod on the end of this knuckle... in this pic... ?

do you have to weld this on the knuckle/ball itself? or does it come already on the knuckle itself? it all made sense to me except this step or pic ....

you'll have to ask lt230sman, but I'm pretty sure he did just weld it on there.

hell ya .. i just looked it up on parts fish ... that looks like it would work great... and if it is to long .. you can always cut the shifter down and weld it. what year blaster shifter did you use? im sure it doesnt mattter, but i dont wanna take any chances lol

hey guys. brand new magneto cover is on the way, should be here monday. I've been working on my quad in the meanwhile. The guy before me put lt250r rear plastics on it, and i have no idea how to get at those nuts in the rear holding the seat on off. Every socket i have is too big, and a wrench is near impossible to fit in. Any suggestions?

Lt250r seat mounts the same as a 230s. you may have some other plastics on rear

Just making sure you know.. the seat is removed by a lever on the back of the latch mechanism sliding sideways... took me a good couple minutes to figure that one out, mine doesn't have the pull cord any longer, stuck a zip tie in it for now.

im having more problems with my 87 now...the rear is way off. when your standing in front of it, the axle looks like its at an angle kinda. but i jacked up the rear and spun the wheels and the axle seems to be straight...idk
