i found a website that sells parts and a lt250s cylinder head assembly was $342 new, unless im reading it wrong.

Suzuki OEM Parts: HEAD ASSY, CYLINDER - Cheap Cycle Parts

Well that's a brand new one. Yeah, its gonna be expensive.

I'd be surprised if they really had it. Bikebandit says its discontinued.

in stock discontinued parts that actually arent in stock... ive been here so many times before. i have that problem with my truck. every place has this or that part until i go to order it. then i get this "sorry, we actually dont have that item anymore." so im forced to make my parts or mod something else to work for it. i was really hoping not to run into that fiasco again with this bike but it seems that all my little projects end up with this lol.

Theres plenty of 230 parts to be had, its the 250 parts that are hard to find. Hell, I have a 230 head laying in the garage... and a 250 head, but its the 4wd 250 head lol. The 4wd head has the +1mm intake valve, but not the straight exhaust port like the 250s head has.

The 230s, 250s, and LT4WD 250 are all basically the same engine.

The biggest diffence in the heads is the exhaust port is a straight shot out of the combustion chamber in the 250

What is the difference in the combustion chamber between the 230 and 250.
