I dont have a picture but you would like mine. I bought a 1/4 inch hose barb, (I think that was the size, whatever the hose is), and I drilled a whole right in the center of the top of the k&n, one size smaller than the barb. I put some silicone on the base and pressed the barb through the hole. Put your hose on and call it good. It is sealed and the engine sucks in the air from the breather just like the stock filter did!

Racer X X X did you ever figure out why your CDI fried? Mine did the same thing. I charged the battery off of the quad, plugged it in, turned the switch and it began to smoke. I had the no spark problem as well. I got a new CDI and I still have no spark. The starter works now that the battery is charged so that ruled out a few of my suspicions. Anyone have any ideas.

Well we went to Hatfield last weekend and 1.2 miles into the first day it was back running like crap. And I was fuming. Went back to the bus to get the other cdi box and it still would not run right but it did run long enough to find the problem ,did a temp fix in the field and got it running rode for a while stopping to refix every once in a while got baclk to the bus and did a better fix and had no more problems the rest of the weekend.

The problem was it was getting water into the coil and shorting off the frame cleaned and dried the coil and coated it with sealant.

well boys its been a good weekend. my son placed second in motorcross at delmarva motorsport park, that ties us for second in points for the 7 race series with 4 events left . we also did the drag race part of the event and finished fourth, but im happy that showed us there where 3 quads that were faster than ours .....2 drr's and 1 custom framed quad with a crf 50 motor in it, but out on the motorcross track, we finished second........ first was a drr, second was us the 2006 ltz 50, third was that custom quad , fourth was another drr, fifth sixth and seventh were like taiwan quads................................. the faster bike doesnt always win on the track..... clean lines, consistent fast laps that wins races and now that i see hes ready i think its time to retire the ltz 50 for practice / woods riding and get the drr to start mx racing

I haven't looked through the 54 pages but I didn't see anyone post the specs on the dynatek ignition for the 50's so I found my old box and here it is.

7,500 rpm limit (Stock 5,400)
Removes both forward and reverse speed limiter. (Reverse donuts anyone?) Lol.
Removes parking brake rev limiter
And a big WARNING: This ignition can double the vehicle speed, use caution!

I got mine off eBay for 175 if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.
