ltz50 quad no power

Hey EdKatt
The raptor looks awesome. My profile says I have a raptor but it doesnt spell out that its borrowed. My bro-in law lets me use it all winter to pull my kids around on their sled or to just ride around in first gear. I love that machine but sometimes I wouldnt mind having a 4 wheel drive machine for the big snow. Anyway your machine is pretty cool looking.
My research continues on the LT 50. I have been checking out the FMF pipes and trying to see if it really adds much power or not. I wish I could try it before I buy it. I am thinking I should spend 30 bucks on getting a baffle/spark arrestor back in the muffler again.

Thanks Bornie for the compliment. I did a search for mini quad parts last night to see if I could find something for my 50 and what came up was a bunch of websites selling mostly two stroke performance parts. The only things they had for 4 strokes were cvt parts. Do that search and you'll see all the stuff you can get for your LTA.

I am assuming the CT Racing clutch kit does about the same as removing the 3 rollers? They probably just got the weight right for all 6 to weigh the same as 3 I am guessing. Either way, $65 isnt too bad, I wonder if it is safer than taking 3 out though, the DIY way.
My son GPS'd his at 25mph this weekend on a dry lake bed in Johnson Valley, CA. He tells me after, "I did not have the throttle down all the way". I dont know if he did or not now, either way, 25mph is a big improvement over 8mph when we bought it. He enjoys driving it now and he just turned 9 years old and 75lbs.
The only thing I have done to it is remove the clutch spacer and CDI box, the CDI box seems to be VERY noticeable.

You are probably right about the rollers, but the kit also comes with different springs for the rear part of the clutch which will change the stall speed. And a couple jets. It seems worth the money.
