Top speed isnt that great really so I wouldnt have thought gearing it even further down would be a good idea.
Acceleration will be very rapid but surely you'll reach top speed in about 20ft with that gearing ?
I notice too that CT Racing offers the CDI for $194 approx but it doesnt show up on Dyna's own website - perhaps they were specially made for them and thats why they're so dear ?</end quote></div>
With the 90 cdi box on it will go about 30mph with factory gearing more than fast enough for a 5 year old. rather have some power than speed than speed with no power.with the new sprocket on it will haul my fat butt up hill it wouldn't haul him up

What pieces actually fit the quad from that website ... I don't know anything about what carburetors and clutches etc... fit where but I can install it

3 too light~~ it won't push the clutch far enough for top speed.
That's why I said that.
Surely it runs fine, just slower up top.

Go to the 50cc parts section . click on GY6 50CC PERFORMANCE. You will see all the different variator weights(roller). My son's bike uses 16x13 rollers that are 5grams. They have a bunch off stuff that will work, but keep in mind that I have a KFX50. Those rollers might fit. Im not sure about a LTZ50.

Yes - I understand it now.
We went with 4 stock rollers so that it has slightly better punch and only loses a little top speed - seems about right for our young riders.
Also I found the following forum quite good for understanding it all - go there !
Variators etc

These bikes are identical mechanically from what I can tell.

4 rollers will put your clutch out of balance.....You either need to run the full six or three to keep it in balance

I doesn't matter how many rollers you run. You will not get anymore low end power, or torque out of it. With e sprocket changed it will climb hills and even spin the wheels a little and still have to use the throttle screw to turn it down
