Jeff try the tire swap. Its free and makes a big difference ~3-4in. My son has a hard time pitching it up on two wheels now.

Thanks Ed. I live in Folsom CA. I'll try my local motorcycle shop. I think Jeff is in my area though I would like to see how his 50 runs with all the CT mods on it...

Were you up at Sand Mtn labor day weekend 07? Your DS looks familiar. I was there with the big DS crew that weekend.

Just shoot me a PM when its up and running. I'll bring my son to check it out too...

I was a little bored this evening and decided to pull the clutch rollers out of my sons 50 to see if I could get some more low end out of it. I was shocked to see these things each weigh in at 13 grams. I started drilling one out and said screw this its taking too long... So I just put three back in and buttoned it up real quick to take it for a spin down the street. BIG difference. Noticeable improvement in bottom end and I dont think it lost anything on the top end. The Dynatek CDI really lets it rev now up top with only 3 rollers. My son is going to have a huge grinon his face the next time he goes riding. Donuts are going to be a peice of cake now

DS, if you took the rollers and still had the stock cdi, you wouldn't be happy. I tried that. Gave it more bottom end but hit the stock rev limiter way to fast. Then I got the cdi and it took care of that. Its a screamer now.

Hey with all the upgrades has anyone tried out the new Skat Trak Exciter Paddles yet? They're new, designed for the 50"s, and come with as low as 5 paddles. I was thinking of getting my son a set, but just wanted to see if anyone has used them yet.

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: EagerJeeper

I called CT Racing last night to order the clutch kit. The guy I talked to said the clutch engaged at around 4,500 rpm. The stock machine is rev limited to 5,000 rpm. He decided the clutch kit wouldn't help me without the new cdi.

He also said that if I really wanted performance I needed the whole shebang. I suppose I'll order the pipe and intake next. The new 43 tooth sprocket was a huge improvement.</end quote></div>

EagerJeeper, who did you order the 43 tooth sprocket from?
