No paddles. I ran the tires at 2.5lbs of air and that was it. I realize the CTRacing kit is pricey but after what that bike was able to do ( along with the Dynatek CDI box) I would say it's money well spent.</end quote></div>
What would you say made the most difference? The CDI box or the CTRacing kit?

The answer to your question is YES! The CDI box allowed the engine to go full throttle without the feeling of bogging down. While the CTRacing kit increased usable horsepower allowing it to climb hills and perform better. I also think the three variator wieghts removed from the clutch setup allowed it to take off quicker. All in all, I'm now happy with the bike.

Hey airmobil101, where did you find nerfbars for a fifty? And what tire size f/r are you running on that thing? It looks awesome!</end quote></div>
LOL, thanks Lowlife!!! I got the nerfs from a guy off EBAY. They are originally for a Kymco 90 Mongoose. At the time, The bid ended with his reserve not met. I contacted the guy and offer 145.00 for them. The rest is history!!
As for the wheels(craigslist special). Front: 10x5 Douglas Red Labels w/Kenda KlawMX 20X6-10 tires.
Rear:8x9 Douglas Blue Label w/ 18x10.5 Kenda KlawMX tires.
Both running on 4X110 bolt pattern.
The red labels came of a 87 Honda 250r.
Feel fortunate that this little LTZ50 thread took off like it did. I had to find everything out the hard way with the Kawi, but well worth it!!! Have a good Holiday!! Tim

Im gonna touch off with one minor thing regardless if its a Suzuki/Kawi/Cat/Polaris/Honda or what ever it is. If your little 50/90 is running a auto choke on the carb ,get rid of it!!!!!!! That thing sucks a##!!!! I dont care if its a Keihin/Mikuni or the Ho Chi Mi special, Those things are junk. I went with a Keihin PB16MM carb with a manual choke. So much easier to adjust. Maybe not a problem with all you southerners or Cali boys, but Im from STL. It gets cold here. Listen up Northern boys, The auto choke will bail on you!!!!!!! You will have a bike with erractic revs with a carbon fouled plug. Get yourself a manual choke carb!!! Trust me, Im trying to save you a headache!!

I just want to thank everybody here for posting the information about the LTZ50. I myself don't post much, because I don't know much until I read it here.
The picture posting of the mods on the FLIKR site was really cool. My 4 year old gets bored with the lack of power on his stock Z50, especially when his brother passes by like he's standing still on his LTA50.
I've ordered the CDI for starters, and after that I'll see what else is needed.

I know what you mean. We sold my oldest sons LTA50 because he outgrew the performance. Plus I hated having to go pullstart it all the time. I was more than dispapointed with the LTZ50 power. The Dynatek CDI will allow the bike to rev out to it's full potential but, for more all around power I definately recommend a pipe, jet kit and filter. The little bike will run with the 90cc atv's after those mods. That isn't thery either. I have proven it:^)

Yea, the only things I like better about the Z over the LTA is the electric start and the better looking plastics. The Dynatek CDI I ordered is coming from California, and I live in PA, so it may take a week or so depending on how they send it. I think I'm more anxious than my son is.
