I saw that bumper. The ltz 90 is the same and sometimes you can find bumpers for it and not the 50.

The noise you guys were talking about a couple of posts back could be one of two things. The first one could be noise from the front CVT pulley rubbing against the pullstart mechanism in the clutch housing. If any of you noticed this noise after removing the restrictor washer in the cvt unit, it could be caused by incorrect reinstall. The pull start mechanism may be rubbing against the CVT unit. If it sounds more like a high winding noise and you removed the three roller wieghts, then it's just the clutch assembly spinning at it's max capability. If it's niether of the two then I would suggest bringing it in to the shop.

The noise I hear is a high winding noise, but I have not removed the three rollers. It mostly happens when my son is flying down hills, he said it sounds like it wants to come apart, probably cause he is doing 30mph on that little thing.

My outlaw 90 whines the same way when its full throttle down a hill. Sounds like its going to blow up or something. But its haulin butt and has had no problems. I think the cvt's just make that noise.

Yeah that definately sounds like the CVT is winding out. It's not a a big concern. It's just winding out to it's max. A clutch upgrade kit would cure that and give it some snap at take off. But, it's really not necessary. Just tell you kids it's the sound of the turbo kicking in when the bike exceeds 25mph

i don't understand how the cvt pulley could be hitting the pull start mechanism because the 16mm nut holds everything on the shaft. surely the shaft isn't walking out that far for it to make contact. i put the spacer back in and the noise is gone, take the spacer out and the noise comes back.it starts from right after takeoff all they way until it tops out. i have even put the sleeve in both ways with no difference. i assume its just the cvt moving further out.

I'm about to install a larger sprocket (43 tooth) that KingQuad was kind enough to sell me. Does anybody know if the wheel hub that I need to pull is a press fit, and will I have any trouble getting it off?

I'll be sure and post how the 43 tooth sprocket does. I have high hopes.

nothing is a press fit the wheel hub and the sprocket hub both should slide right off
