Do make sure you check the rollers for wear. It doesnt take long for them to start re-shaping themselves.

I noticed Huntingfromaquad put the 2-stroke against the 4-stroke, is there anyone else on this thread that can do the same comparison?

Mine blew up!! Just joking guys. Scared ya. I havent taken my rollers out yet and I know some have had yours out a little while so I just wanted to make sure.</end quote></div>

funny you should say that. Never ran this one much since they overhauled it under warranty the first part of November. They pretty much made a new engine out of pieces.</end quote></div>

What exactly happened to it?

it started using oil. using it real bad we switched to 20-50 racing oil(supposed to stop oil consumption in racing engines) so we could get the last rip into Hatfield and McCoy and it was using a half a quart in less than 20 miles withthe motor heading down hill it would smoke like a frieght train. Seems fine now they put in a new crank, rod, brgs, piston and rings, and cylinder case and other small parts. It smoked a little from day one but I just figured it needed broke in well it never got better just a lot worse

Was this after modifying it? what mods were done when this happened?
