I was able to find them at a local store with no problems so I didn't search online for them. The main jet will be a small round not a big one. They will ask.</end quote></div>

Well i do have to say after all the mods..my son thinks the LTZ50 is fun again...
I added the CT pipe and filter,CDI,CT clutch kit.....added wheel spacers to the rear and swapped the rears to the front to make the quad wider
It didnt end there....had to play with the jetting...and seems like the 75 main works best for my elevation(1,400') also tuning the air/fuel mixture screw helped clean up the throttle response and slight popping it made on throttle release.
The CT clutch kit rollers seem to weigh about the same as 3 stock rollers..i tried both set ups...3 stock rollers and 6 CT rollers...i couldn't tell the difference.
I tried the various CT springs in the secondary clutch, did not like them..they all seemed to cause to much slippage...and delayed take off way to long to suite our needs...so i put the stock springs in with the CT rollers,it takes off just fine with my 45lb son....with me on it...its still a bit of a slug...LOL
I have the CDI on the unlimited setting...i like the option to return to stock..in case i have a younger, less experianced rider that may want to take it for a spin...
I am curious on how it will do at Sand Mountain this weekend.....
Only thing left would be the sprockets...

My jets are 75 main and 22.5 idle. You know now that I think of it, I think it was a large round. Sorry Tbird, I have a bad memory!
I initially went to Honda and just bought the jets without taking the carb apart. They had a large and a small so I went with a small because the carb is so small. I went home and took it apart and had to go back and get the large.

We did the Ct cdi, removed three roller & spacer, and opened the exhaust. Went to Winchester Bay for a week. On the 2nd day my grandson got stuck on a small dune. He kept the throttle pinned cause he liked the roost. Before we could get him to let up it threw the chain. We put the chain back on and tighened it. On the way back to camp the motor died. Tried to start and it was siezed. When the chain came off it broke the case and the motor was full of sand. Anyone know where to get a motor?
We went to Coos Bay and bought him a new Outlaw 50, so the trip was stiil good. The Outlaw is much faster than the LTZ was.

I just added the C.T. Racing Pipe. The machine sounds great but that's about it. My goal is to get more low end power. I want the bike to crawl through gullies without stalling. I'm satisfied with the top speed with the rev limiting cdi.
Maybe you all can help me. I ordered the pipe and jets, but not the K & N air box. I installed the pipe and the jets (72.5 main and 22.5) in one session. The machine cranked right up, but I had to increase the idle screw for it to idle. No big deal. When I gave it gas it just wouldn't make any power. It would barely move with me on it (215lbs) on level ground.
Next I removed the air box and ran it down the street. It did run well but I couldn't notice any appreciable improvement over the stock set up. (I do have a 43 tooth sprocket on the rear).
I can't run it forever without a filter so I put the stock jets back. With the air box installed it did not seem to pull quite as hard as the the larger jets and no air box. It did run well though - no sputtering or flat spots.
I re-assembled the body with stock jets, the stock air box and the the C.T. Racing pipe.
Until I get more information that's how it's going to stay. Currently I'm not even a little bit impressed with the pipe. I'm hoping someone in the know will tell me that I have the set up wrong, and what I need to do to dial in the jetting.
I'll admit to having buyers remorse already. My kid loves the sound, but I could probably reproduce that by drilling some holes in the stock pipe.
For much less money I could deck the head and install a 48 tooth rear sprocket and probably be delighted. If C.T. Racing or someone here can't help me I'll return the pipe and do what I just mentioned.
Thanks in advance.
