That sounds assume............
There's nothing like tinkering with the bike and then seeing your kid having the time of their life, Keep up the good work....
I'm in NY and it might as well be the salt flats. There really aren't too many big hills out here. How much do you think it really lost on the top end??
I want to stop that slow start from a standstill to full throttle, if this is gonna make the bike jump out the gates I'm all for it...

if i change the tires later, can i put the valve stem in the rear facing out again because i won't have that directional issues?????
</end quote></div>
Yeah if you took the tires off the rims or bought new tires then you could put them on the right way with the valve stem facing out.

Can someone tell me where to find the stock exhaust mod in this topic? I have looked a little, but cannnot find it.
Thanks,</end quote></div>
Hey Yoda,
Some have drilled holes in the baffle plate that's inside the muffler. They also cut the screen part of the spark arrestor off and then having a 3/4" washer welded on. I had welded it on the inside where I had made the cut. Also, the mod that I made to the muffler was to take the entire thing off, cut where you see the spot welds for the baffle plate, and cut right down the middle. That will help break the spot welds and you'll be able to tap the baffle out. Take it to a local weld shop (already sanded which makes it a little easier for them) and for $10 you're good to go.

Nice. Looks like he's having a blast. We almost went out to Prairie City yesterday. Too bad cause I would like to have seen how they compared. Let me know next time your heading out there and well try to meet up. Did they say anything about the red sticker when you went in the gate? We are heading to Sand Mtn this Friday It will be the first time in the sand since the CDI and rollers removed.

As far as the top-end goes I really coudn't say as far as MPH, but it's not slow. It's still pretty quick!
From a complete stop, mid-way up a table-top, it powered right up it. I don't think the stock 37T sprocket would've been able to do that......Remember, this set-up was originallly in hopes of an improvement for the sand.
It's not raising the front tires off the ground when he hits the throttle, (but when I ride it I can feel it lighter in the front when taking off).
Lastly, I cut the chain at 87 links (88 total with the master link). With it completely loosened, it barely comes off, so you may have to remove the master if you ever need to remove the chain. If you go 89 links (90 w/the master) you may not be able to tighten the chain where you want it when you're adjusting it.
Hope this helps.
