I washed it after a ride and now it won't run above an idle.
Did I get the plug wet?
Where would the water go?
I let it run for 15 minutes after washing and it never did clear out.
I didn't wash inside the side covers, only the front.
I ran it for another 15-20 minutes today and it still won't accelerate above idle.

 

Sounds like water made its way into the fuel system. I would drain the float bowl a couple times.
