LT230 Project

Give me a break man I just updated 2 days ago, maybe this weekend I will have the time and some patience money to complete it. No the paint is rock solid, the engine was painted over a week ago, the frame a month ago and the rest of the parts a month+ ago. It leaves finger prints but it's on the clear and they buff out it's just so glossy that's why. The frame could have used a second coat of paint, but it was the only thing that would not fit in my booth and I almost killed my grandma with the fumes seeping through the floor so I called it quits after 1 can and cleared it 50+ hours after that.

I'm not guna lie, I'm sick of looking at the thing and I'm starting to get in a rush now I have other machines to complete. I did not end up using the bondo/crack filler, as long as the plastics do not flex I am happy enough. So I cut up an old Altoids can and pop riveted pieces where necessary to hold cracks together. I scratched the hell out of the plastic with a very fine sand paper and gave it a first coat of yellow Krylon fusion, which is why I don't mind pop rivets because they will not stand out as much being painted the same color as the plastic. I also used washers for the top bolt holes to bring the plastic cracks together and make for a good solid anchor point for the bolt to hold on.
