Default 1987 suzuki lt230 problems

so this is my 3rd post now and i just cant seem to get it to idle.it either idles too high or just stalls out.sometimes if i tap the throttle real fast while its idling it just wont do anything instead of reving up like its supposed to like its bogging or not taking the fuel or something.cleaned the carb for the 2nd time now.where should i look.the quad is fine when your riding it i just cant stand it idling that high.im getting frustrated and idunno where to start.i was thinking a spark plug to start cus you cant go wrong with a brand new plug but idunno why its running like this.any help any1 please.ill post pics tomorrow of it running so you can see for yourself.carb is clean mixture screw 2 turns out.any help is appreciated.i have tried to narrow it down and am thinking i either still have an air leak but cant find it at all, need a spark plug, spark plug wire, coil, ignition, just not really shure.im trying to narrow it down because it runs fine in all the fears when you get on it but if you puttin its kinda hesitant i think ill start with a plug tomorrow and then see.any help please thanx people will have pics and a vide tomorrow.

you should buy a rebuild kit for the carb they are cheap and it cant hurt anything but before you do that if you can get or have another carb similar to yours put it on and see what happens

sure you didn't lose any parts when you cleaned the carb? if you take out the main jet you can sometimes drop that tube that goes thru the carb look in the throat of carb if cannot see a brass tube sticking out its right where the needle is then thats your problem
