Thanks!

If I shut the fuel off at the petcock wouldn't it continue to drain the bowl into the cylinder during the 4 kicks?

I will post a compression test when I get the time.

I have painted an ATV with Fusion before but it chipped off easily, however I did not clear it.

The muffler leak was not due to the crush washer but possibly an O-ring? I used some maximum oil resistance Permatex gasket maker and the leak is no longer present.

Thats good you got the leak covered on the xhaust. Most of the time, you have to get a new alimuinum glasket for them.

the float bowl should have a over flow drain hose and screw to drain the float bowl for storing during winter. thats how I drained mine, when doing my compression check.

YA the only paint I found that does well with not chipping is laquer based paint or laquer clear coat. or a professional paint with a hardner agent in it.

I get the stuff from autozone, works well, about $6.00 a can. but you will need 2 cans for sure. needs like 6 coats.

I completed rebuilding the rear shock and resi today, now the machine is complete. I took it for a test drive...woa what a difference those power reeds must make over stock in second gear it just takes off like a nut you blow right through it. I'm going to race my brother this week on his YFZ450r to see if I can get any advantage over him (long run and/or launch)

Thanks! It's been a long time commin'

I'm having an issue though with coolant leaking out of the head, not a lot but just enough to wet the outside of the head gasket and an occasional drip (exhaust side) which dries right off by the time it hits the manifold. The head is torqued down correctly so I'm not sure...and the head gasket is installed correctly according to the diagram.
