Default 1995 king quad 300 broken rear axle

Yesterday I pulled my king quad out of the shed to sell to my co workers bro for 1000 so I can buy a kx 500.Anyway I towed it down to my house w another quad becase the tire was flat.Today when I went to drain fuel, fix tire I noticed the rear right axle snapped at the outter joint and wheel right in the middle. He wanted to give me 900 and I said my bottom line is 1000.I dont know wht to do right now as he told my co worker if it runs he'll give me a grand now IM really f*cked I dont know what to do?Any ideas?I cant sell it like this now

If he offered the 900 as is, I'd sell it fast. Can't fix it for 100.

IM gonna have to tell him(co worker) I know its gonna cost way more then 100 for a half shaft if not close to 200 hundred. Then do I need to replace both sides likeyou do brakes,it needs tires and if I go this route I might just keep the damn bike.I almost dont even feel like selling it to co workers brother because quad is old and we all know how that goes,ya sell your buddy your old bike, its starts to break and then ya have to hear them bitch about what a POS ya sold em.Thanks alot for the replies.I did tell co worker it was an old qud an its as is I cant be guaren damn teeing nothing on it lol

No ,you just change the axle that needs it. The other side could be good for years.

Did you check ebay for the axle...if you are selling anyway, you may be able to find an aftermarket one for around 100 bucks!
