I have read a few post on options of exhaust, but wanted to see if anyone has done this. So my thought was what result would you get by taking a stock pipe and cutting the end off right behind where it transitions up and out the smaller exhaust port?

would this damage the motor?
what would this do to the performance of the quad?
it would be louder correct?

The stock exhaust works very well. My national motor with the stock pipe will rev 11-12k rpms.
I've seen alot of cobbled up stock pipes. Non were better than stock..NON-Zero_NADA.
