I am planning on getting a 185 rear sprocket and chain due to the increase in cc's. As far as the chain tensioner goes, is it stuck to the splines or is that little sprocket stuck? My only thought is try to take the chain off and then use a flywheel puller and get it off. If you could explain exactly what it is doing I may be able to help you a little better.

I don't know if you check out ebay or not but there is a guy parting out a LT125. If you need another chain tensioner it is there. Just a a heads up.

 

Thanks, but thats not the problem, it will slide off the splines if i need it to, but it is on a pivot. You are supposed to loosen the bolt and then tap the tensioner with a hammer and it will move, then re tighten the bolt. This is what is supposed to happen. But when I loosen the bolt, it will loosen fine, but the tensioner is like frozen and will nto pivot. I don't get it. Thanks for the notice about the parts on E-bay, I might need some. Thanks.
