I'm looking for somebody to do a full split case rebuild and get some more power out of my 86' QuadRacer. I looked at CT Racing's ad and site, but they don't do the 86' Racer. Anybody know who does? And what kind of pipe should I get?

There are a few company that build pipes for the 85/86 Racers. I went with Trinity, CT uses the same people to build there pipes. Graydon Proline also has pipes for them. These are all hand made wich has been proven to preform better. LRD makes a pipe, but, unfortunately not their adjustable. FMF and DG also make stamped pipes. I wish FTZ or Paul Turner made pipes for these Quads.

As far as the motor work I don't know who would do a complete tear down of the 85/86. Mine was done when I bought it.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Chris Grissom of Suzuki of Paris Tenn. I'm sure can and would do a great job on your motor. He's fair on prices and fast on turnaround call: 731-642-0511

I think that LRD performance and duncan racing have kits for the 85/86 quadracers. I don't know about the bottom end but they both will do the top end for sure.

I think I'm going with the LRD motor and pipe because I e-mailed them and they were really helpful and answered all of the questions I had. They also told me that they can rebuild the whole motor.
