Eiger
#2
The Eiger won a shootout against a Rancher; both were 2x4s and 5 speeds (Rancher being push button). The Eiger was faster, better riding and physically bigger. After seeing both in person I'd good with the Eiger it has front disc brakes, shift able 4x4, better racks and is offered as an auto.

I am going to drive a manual Eiger 4x4 this weekend. I have looked at one before, but have found one now for 4630 out the door. I do ride often with someone on back, so I need to know how much it can handle. I have read nothing, but good things, while the only negative things have been from the dealer!

Sorry to tell you bud, but Suzuki won't take them for a recall, they will send a notice out, to take it to the dealer to have it fixed, free of charge. So if anything, there should be plenty at the dealer, just maybe not for sale.

I looked at them again today. It was raining so the test drive was out. I did ask the dealer about the recall. Seems that all those who had purchased Eigers were given new bikes by Suzuki! The dealer has the ones serviced by the factory for sale with a full four year warranty thrown in for free. The price is not that bad when compared to a new one, and some are still practically new most with less than 100 miles. I like the looks of them for a mid-class/mid-weight.
