I have an Eiger 4x4 automatic - stock. I'm very happy with it and do some mild jumping now. The machine handles the jumps so well that I'm tempted to do more.

Where I ride, there is a table-top jump that I'm itching to try. I take it now at just under 30MPH and I land on top about 5-10 feet from the down ramp. I'm tempted to take it faster but I'm afraid if I clear it, the landing will be too much for me or the machine (at around 800 pounds together). If I clear it, I figure it'll be around 7-10 feet of vertical elevation. Anyone getting big air? Anyone think this is too much for a utility machine. How likely is it that I'll hurt the quad?
Share your experiences, (god and bad) and any suggestions on technique would be appreciated.

just make sure you don't nosedive, the first time i jumped my prairie i nosedived it so bad i flew right over the handle bars.
SO just make sure to land with your back wheels first and don't let off of gas as you are going up the jump and you should be fine
