Roostking....thanks for reminding me...he broke the twist throttle too.....as well as the brake, clutch, and light/on/off control.

I think before I let anybody ride again I will just pop the little question "So you ever play that Off Road Fiery Game"

If they have then I will slowly unplug the ignition wire, when there putting on their helmet. "You know how it is these old quads just don't want to start sometimes"

enjoy....

87Race,
I know exactly how you feel, I have been on both sides of the fence.....
Ive got two stories for ya.....

1st, ME tearing up other people's stuff. My best friend got a '00 Silverado single cab, short bed, 327 cu, 17"s, various other "upgrades".
Anyways..... I am DDing him in his own truck (he was seriously trashed and I was sober) and we these guys who have been constantly talking $h!t about my friends truck. So my friends says "We'll race ya" . Well i realise that I have been volunteered to pilot on this illegal street drag, luckily i live in BFE so cops are not an issue, we run out of town to a deserted spot and we cut loose. Well as we approach 65-70 mph (gotta love those 5.3s baby! we were winning also) 2nd and 4th gear decide to depart of his tranny, along with the rear end (tore completely to pieces, chunk, ring, pinion, the whole 9 basically). This truck has 10K miles on it. GREAT! I have just crapped out my buds tranny/rear end. Luckily, this wasn't really my fault, it just went while I was driving it (true I wasn't exactly "putting around town"). Warranty fixed it up fine! (I did offer to compensate if they did not thought )

2nd story. My friend is riding my blaster around while we are at my cousins house, he is coming accross a field WOT 6th gear. This one part of the field used to be a garden so its like a tiny whoops section where the rows once were and he is coming accross diagnolly. Well after about the 4th or 5th it bounced high enough to land front right wheel first, he panicked and grabbed the brakes and kapish it was all over from there, remarkable it only suffered a busted silencer (stock, so i got aftermarket! ) and bent handlebars.... He bought the silencer and had it installed and he paid to have his boss straighten the bars (he worked at a machine shop). All in all came out well. Some days are better than others, at least your BIL is ok and at least your quad lives (somewhat) to scream another day!

I dred the day I go riding with my BIL. He has been riding a Three wheeler 250R??? for a while and telling me how he crashed this time and that time and how he fixed it. How fast it is , on and on.

Well my Cannondale Speed should be out of the shop soon and he wants to go ride. I already told the wife there is no wat in hell, your brother is going to ride my quad, so don't ask me to allow it. Now when he strps up to ask will it be a simple NO, or a No with an explination?

Your thoughts.

Smitty

Let me start off by saying how sorry I am about your misfortune!!!! I know how it feels! My buddy left his Z out at my place for a couple of days and another friend of mine wrecked it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about feeling stupid!!!!!!!!!! The thing that made me feel a little better was the fact that the owner of the Z knew we were out riding it!!! My buddy that wrecked it doesn't have alot of riding time under his belt and therefore I believe you shouldn't let a beginner ride an advanced quad!! P.S. With your BIL being OK I would still make him pay for ALL the repairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to buy a sticker and put it right on the gas tank.

'Yeah, its fast, No you can't ride it'.....
