Default KFX 400 rear shock adjustment (HELP!!)

Can anyone walk me through adjusting my rear shock
Here is the issue: A row of 15 whoops , easy huh ? not on my KFX , the first 6 I can skim across the top then my a$$ end starts to buck
really bad causeing me to let of the gas and allowing EX's and Raptor's to pass me by
Can anyone help ???

Default KFX 400 rear shock adjustment (HELP!!)

It is my understanding that adjusting your shock may not help this because I heard somewhere that the Z/KFX rear swingarm is designed w/ a flaw that causes this. I may be wrong, but that is what I read on one of these sites.

i have the same prob??? what can we do to cure this?? shocks? swingarm?

Default KFX 400 rear shock adjustment (HELP!!)

From what I've read is that the swing arms will stretch??? and lock up under accereration is this true? I wouldn't think any shock would fix this problem it's all in the Swing-arm geometry. Suzuki should have used the old 250R style swing arm instead of having looks on their mind.

Sound like you got it, for future reference simply adjust your damp so that you NEARLY bottom out on the big hits, have asa little rebound as possible...just enough to keep the bike near the top of its suspension.

I never could get the rear shock to act right! I adjusted and even changed the spring(that helped). The Axis shock fixed it.

i have a o4 z400 and its doing the same thing. bucking bad cant get it right. i think i should got a honda lol.

I haven't ran into that problem with mine but I haven't rode on a mx track with it eather.
Sounds like its Elka suspention and roll design swing arm time.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
