my z400's brakes squeak like crazy..whether i'm stopping or going it doesn't matter. the quad is only 1 month old and it didn't do it until i really took it out riding. could there be sand inside? if so what's the best way to get it out?

 

Replace your rear rotor with an aftermarket vented rotor. I haven't seen or heard of any other fix for it. Mine did it too right after the first good hard ride!

HOSE IT OUT WITH A AIR HOSE OR WATER .IT WORKS

 

Make sure that your caliper floats like it's supposed to...this is a common problem with sticking calipers

 

I picked up my new LT400 yesterday and after the first 30 minutes on the trail,the rotor is squeaking.I would have freaked if I hadn't got the word that this was normal in advance from this site.

 

Rub grease all over the rotor and it won't squeak any more. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Every time my raptor breaks I'm the loudest in California...boy am I glad they are so dependable and came from the factory without any problems
