Default Oil problem?

Sometime when you flood the quad on starting the gas will get in the crankcase but it won't hurt anything

Default Oil problem?

I had a motorcycle where the float valve failed, and it would overflow the float bowl and let gas run into the intake manifold, where it would seep past the rings and into the crankcase.

Enough gas in the oil to notably raise the oil level would be a problem...

yeah if you have gas in your oil then your rings are leaking. Did you buy the quad new or used?

turn off the gas when ever you end your ride for the and more importantly - turn it off when ever you transport it. It will bounce around and let the gas gravity feed into the cylinder and leak into the crank case. Also temp changes in the gas tank will contract and expand the air and gas forcing it past the carb into the cyl. just turn off the gas when you arent using it. I even let it run a few minutes with the gas turned off before I shut it down. gets some gas out the gas lines

It doesnt mean your rings are not sealing at all.

Mine did this on a brand new quad - I was told to turn off the gas and it went away
