Guy was driving north on 99 from Fresno and around Merced he goes to pass, or somewhere between there and Ripon. He gets in the left lane to pass and notices the truck has no guts and the passee truck was now passing him. He stops around Ripon and checks the truck. Nothing seems amis, then he wouldn't know unless it was bad. Gets back on the freeway and it's all good. Then he slows down on the 99N to 120West interchange. Powers goes away again. Max 40MPH. He then drives it up to around French Camp and finally stops. Besides the WhyTF did you limp it that far I don't know questions, anyone got an idea? If it just did it once on acceleration I could see possibly blowing an intake hose off post-turbo. I'm just curious. He didn't know about the boost gauge so doesn't know what it was reading. Didn't notice any smoke.

Hopefully Mantweaka Ford has their **** together. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] They picked it up. Probably get to it tomorrow. Truck is about umm 20 months in service, and maybe 10K miles.

And as an aside, I wanted to hurt someone from China. Had to run our old 450 up to pick up the trailer. It has the small 6-pin round plug. New truck and trailer are 7-pin flat RV. So we made up a pigtail to convert it quickly. (It's been on the TODO list to change the old truck over and all the trailers to 7-pin flat RV.) I know what colors go to which function. Couldn't get things right. Found two colors swaped in the 7-pin receiver portion. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] That made for a long day...we pulled into the office at 6:30.
