If it wouldnt be too much trouble I would like to ask what the top of ball height is for hauling your car haulers?
I know TT's are gonna be different.
The factory states 16"-18" top of ball height but that seems low and the opinion of my local RV place also believes that to be on the low side.
My new car hauler is not here yet so I cannot confirm anything but it would be comparable to any other car hauler I would believe.
My RV dealer guy is believing more like 21" to top of ball.

My truck is lifted and I know I am going to need a drop shank but won't be able to determine what length until the trailer is actually here. MAN those WD drop shanks are pricey !! like over $100 for some 2" solid steel...Seems like a LOT for what it is but I guess to weld that beefy of steel and cut it is pricey. but still.
Thanks

That's about the height of my RV TT when the TT frame is level or just slightly angled down in the front of the TT.

You're probably best to wait and get an exact measurement off your new trailer to know for sure.

Yes, I would wait for it to come in as well. I can go between my TT and my brothers enclosed without changing the hitch height, they are pretty close. Actually just picked up a new toy hauler(TT) and it no adjustment needed on hitch height for that one either. The proper way to find the height is to measure to the frame between the axles(provided it has 2 axles.) On flat ground that measurement should be the same at the front of the trailer as well once hitched up.

yeah I am in no hurry to get a set up on the hitch. I got the complete WD hitch for 100 bucks off craigslist, figured that was a deal. 800 lb bars, and a shank that I believe is gonna be too short due to the lift on the truck but it'll work to get it to the RV shop...Even witout the WD hitch I am sure I can haul it reasonably level and with no load in it it'll haul fine. The RV shop can get me a new or maybe a used shank if I need it. Used being cheaper obviously. Will post info upon delivery and how the setup of it goes.

if you are payign someone to setup your hitch load the trailer as you would before dropping it off that way they have the actual tongue weight and arent guessing.
