Default EPI Clutch

Hey guys i need help..

I was installing my Big mudder clutch kit tonight and got to the part where i put my new spring on..but the spring i got has less coils and its fatter and wider then stock, therefore the the spring doesnt fit in the spring seat..has anyone installed this clutch before..i was just wondering because it tells me to buy oil, grease, compression tool, and gaskets but doesnt mention anything bout spring seat..i would just call them or email them but they are closed til tuesday and now i just have parts laying everywhere taking up space in the garage...any clues or suggestions?

You must be talking about the secondary clutch? The new spring can't be wound a little to reduce the diameter? This is just a guess as I only have experience with sleds.

I never had that much luck with EPI. They were always so secretive (ask them what the rate is on your new spring) and their stuff was never better than anyone elses. But it surprises me the kit would come incomplete and without comprehensive instructions (or) an incorrect spring.

Actually, it's 12:20 in the afternoon where I am right now. I think that is about 2 AM for you.
