The Kawi dealer that does allot of service work for me, is also the AC dealer and even he told me before I test road that 05 not to expect prairie kinda power out of the AC because it was so much larger that the motor would not feal the same at all. He was absolutley correct from what I could tell.

Your machine must be some kinda freaky quad that just does some amazing things. I am not saying I do not believe you, I am with Gobblin on this, in that its very unlike a AC to perform like that. We actauly have 5 of these kawi v-twin powered prairies and none of them run those kinds of speeds in low and as for high range most of them can get there but only the one with the BB 800 kit can do it quickly. The clutch topps out around 73-75. Only my 800 BB machine has the power to top out the clutch. Thats why I said they must have made some major gear changes in that thing. Its got me wondering what they did and if it would benifit my 800 to swap out the clutch components.

Absolutely no problem, man. To each his own. I don't want people to think I wear my heart on my sleeve and it's got Suzuki written on it. I owned Hondas for several years before the King and I absolutely love those too. Had the new Rincon been in existence when I was looking around last summer, it may have affected my decision, who knows. I'll be honest with you, I used to not give a rip for Arctic Cats, but it sounds like they've gotten their act together since those days. You got a winner.

By the way cc1999, I think we just misunderstood each other and I mean no ill-will to you. I don't look to start up arguements, but I was already hot when I ran into your original post about the Rincon's quickness and I think I misinterpreted the point you were trying to make. No hard feelings.

Hey guys, I called my dealer, worried something might be wrong with it, but he said you get a few strong ones that pop up once in a while. He said they are detuned, but some of them arent quite "detuned" enough. Its supposably rare, but we will have to ask around and see if anyone else has had this happen.

Yes I do have a BF650. When I race people I have to get over the front bars to keep it from coming up too far. I can sit in the seat in normal positions and hit about 3/4 throttle, maybe, and it will come right up. I have a moose module and pink primary. That is $100 worth the add-ons and it does this. I will hit 67mph on the speedo with my 26" mudlites.

I have never ridden the BF750 besides a test drive but I would imagine it is a wheelie machine.

This is a very interisting thread as I am ready to buy a utility now. I like the bomb 800 but $9k otd price is tall for a first quad. I live in So Cal and will use it for desert trails, exploring, camping and Mammoth (9000ft elevation). I suppose a sand dune now and then. No mud bogs, no log pulling. I have no desire to hit 70+mph but I don't want a slug. I do want it to handle and ride nice and be reliable. Do I need a big bore or will a Bomb 400 do it as it may have the best suspension I have been told. Or will a Suz KQ, Rincon, or Grizz be better. I am 54, 160lbs and have ridden before some. I will have to make a decission without riding it as in So Cal there is no dealer that will allow test rides, not even in the parking lot. Thanks all for the help.

EasyQuader, I would have to agree and say the new 680 Rincon.
