1-not a belt issue (early water pump post. dated almost 6 mo. ago) nice try though.
2-crank seal (not belt)
3-clank noise- Normal! (gap between helix + rollers in the secondary clutch)
4-abused machine (flat spot on belt)
5-clank noise-Normal (see above)
6-MODIFIED Aaen clutch kit!

am i missing something here? there hasn't been a single fault found with the Sportsman 700/600 belts. i've gone back 13-15 pages on the Polaris Forum and haven't found a single defect!

Seems you avoided responding to the coolant leaking problem. I suppose I could list all those and you could rationalize those away too!

It's not my style to get into this... mine is better than yours..... crap because my main interest is to ride and have a good time doing it. I made my point, I did find what you said I couldn't, I'm moving on (at least I'll try).

ANY EXTERNAL MODS (TIRES, EXHAUST, CARB,CHASSIS , ANY COMBO ) WILL BE PLACED IN A MOD CLASS.
ANY INTERNAL MODS MOVED TO THE OPEN CLASS
WITH YOUR 660 YOU DISCRIBED IN YOUR ( SIG.) YOU'LL PROB. END UP IN THE 600-700 cc mod CLASS .
NOT TO SURE ABOUT THE RULES THIS TIME AROUND BUT, THEY SHOULD BE THE SIMILAR.
COME ON DOWN AND RIDE THE POKER RUN ITS ONLY 30 MILES THIS TIME AND THE SLED PULL IS AT NIGHT (ITS AWSOME UNDER THE LIGHTS) THEN THE MIDNIGHT RIDES AFTERWARDS.

SLEDPULLING IS A NEW HOBBY FOR ME , I PERFER THE MUD RACES ( REDNECK DRAG RACING) .
I HAVEN'T BEEN COMPLETELY COMMITED TO THIS AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE. I DO A LOT OF TRAIL RIDING, PLUS I USE THE 700 ON MY FARM. I USED TO COMPETE 15 YEARS AGO IN THE LOCAL TRUCK PULLS, BUT IT GOT TO BE A REAL EXPENSIVE HOBBY SO I SOLD MY PULLING TRUCK, AND I'VE REGRETED IT EVERYDAY SINCE , THEN GOT INTO DRAG RACING (MOSTLY STREET RACING) LOVED EVERY MINUITE OF IT, UNTIL I ALMOST GOT CAUGHT . THEY GET REALLY PERTURBED W/ STREET RACING AROUND HERE, SO NOW MY NEIGHBNOR GOT ME INTO THE MUD RACING HE RUNS A STREET MOD. TRUCK AND I RUN IN STREET STOCK WITH MY TRUCK AND I RUN MY 700 IN THE 4X4 ATV CLASS.
THERES 1 TRACK WE GO TO ITS GOT 2 LANES WITH A X-MAS TREE, SIDE BY SIDE RACING JUST LIKE THE DRAG STRIP.
