Default Hodaka Ace 90 then Super Rat

My first 2-stroke dirt bike was a Hodaka Ace 90, it was a good fun bike to ride. I am still amazed at how good it would get up and go! My dad and I would go riding in the desert and have a blast chasing jack rabbits and climbing sand dunes.
A couple of years later I got a Hodaka Super Rat (100cc) lol, and I thought that was even better! We had a lot of good times on those old bikes and they are now great memories!

I always liked the Hodaka's..orange frame, chrome tank and fenders. They were relatively light and that 90/100cc engine had decent power.

I found this web page on Hodakas...Tells the whole Hodaka story..

Ode to Hodaka

I bought a Hodaka Super Rat back in 1975 and had it until about 4 years ago.
That was a fun bike for sure!

Very light front end, many a times I was running behind mine when it hit the powerband! Running and holding on to the bars.

I have some pics of me riding my Super Rat about eight years ago.
I'll have to locate them and scan them in.
