welll, a stok 450r will smoke a stock raptor,,,,,mine aint stock and yours is still faster

 

I have had differing experiences that whats bein talked about here [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Faster i recall no other 4 stroke in our group beating a black raptor and a white one with blue hand gaurds... Quickness i recall a couple bikes hittin their speed only to be outrun. so lets get our terminology straight. R1 or R6 raptor on the drawing board. whose 450 is faster? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Hey all you crazy PSAR people, Val here for Happy...In case he was supposed to ride with anyone tomorrow.....

He is stuck down in Vancouver for the night with a truck in the shop due to a clutch going out so he will not be riding tomorrow as planned, he will be getting the repaired truck back and making his deliveries in Portland then heading back home later in the afternoon.

Another question here, Preddy 500 or a Zuki 400/Kawi 400. Which one is better and why. Looking to upgrade one of the bikes and need info. I guess we could also consider the Honda, but not happy wih the look. Want to stay under $6K.

 

I think U know my answer[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. But I will be first to say I never pulled off a 1st in the line up drags that we all had[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]. But I will stick by the KawiZuki DVX clones as being the best ALL around upper-mid size quad for the money, not the best at anything but good at it all. I think U said U didn't like Kent Kawi, but Clint (the young guy) is great to deal with and will give U the best price(tell him I sent U, Jay Hottell).

Karl has a great dealer up his way that I think gets his Preddies for close to the price of the 400's. I think Karl will back me on that the Predator weighs more and if U like to get air, its manners and weight arn't the best. But I do remember Karl beating many of the Blue and Reds that he lined up against.

Then what I am hopefully gonna do is pick up one of the new Zuki 450's after I abuse mine this winter at Woodland. And hopefully somebody will have green plastics out so I can perpitrate and confuse. Thats a KAWI???[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I would have to agree with that statement. Those 400's are great bikes. Simple, reliable and cheap since all the new stuff came out.

Who is the new bike for? You? or is this gonna be a family bike?
