Had a few nice rides at Carnegie with 2 of my daughters Had a pleasant time visiting with MWQ and his wife Weather was a little warm, fortunately there was a cool breeze blowing. It was dusty But when you youngest daughter, is leading the rides at 11 mph dust really isn't a problem We were surprised that the creek had already dried up

Karyn and Suzy, did you make it out there? Didn't see your truck(s).

Spent a few hours at carnegie monday visiting with RD and 2 of his daughters. I was amazed at how dry the place was already. The hills were brown and there was no moisture anywhere. Seemed like it was july already. the park wasnt that crowded at all for a holiday, that was nice.

No.. I didn't make it out there.... I decided to stay home and paint my bathroom (yet again...). I think it's been 4 colors in 6 months.. haha.. and I just can't seem to find the right color...the saga continues....

Yes, Carnegie can get quite dusty and dry very quickly! We were out there 3 weeks ago and it was getting that way.....being the leader of the pack is a good thing since you don't come back with a dirt moustache!!!! Sorry we missed ya'll.... sounds like you had fun! Keep us posted if you head out this way again.... I promise not to paint!

Hey all, this is just a basic introduction. I am new to ATVs but my little girl and I are having a blast so far. We live in Barstow and so far have just been going out on our 2.5 acre lot and out in the desert some. We are taking it easy and still learning. No racing or crazy riding for us. But in the future we hope to make some trips around Southern California. I also enjoy 4X4 in my Ranger and Ham Radio.

Me: Jim, 41 yrs old. 04 Suzuki Z400. I'm taking it easy and getting used to the power of this bike.

Victoria: 10 yrs old. Yamoto 110 (Great bike for kids and small adults; green sticker too.). She took to it like a fish to water.

The Wife: not on the quad yet but she insistes she will try the Yamoto.

Promises promises Don't you know they make color swatches so you don't need to try every color of the rainbow

Nice to meet you RescueDiver and MyWifesQuad. I have read post from both of you in the past. Thanks for your input on the forum. My wife is getting used to the little 110. I'm thinking a suzuki Z250 might be better for her. I'll have to see how she does.

Going to Pismo June 9-13th. Look for the Dark Blue 4x4 Dually Crew Cab with Rampage 5th wheel.

Ironman, the Z250 is a good size bike. A friend of ours bought one for his wife. She enjoys it. It has all the power she needs, when she rides. Now, my wife on the other hand she is a power demon
