Like I said, they are about like 10-12. Somewhere around there. One looks about 14 or so because she's almost as tall as me. Beware though. Daddy packs for a living. Dog might know better, I just started riding with the group. Cool group.

They need to get some more 20-something single female riders.... Hell...ANY single females. There's what...one. I feel outta place. It's either 30-something, maybe 40-something people with 10-something kids.

Hey, hey there . . . I'm a "40 something"! No "10 kids" though - are you kidding? I'd shoot myself.

My 13 year old stepson (who is a very small 13 yr. old) has a 250EX and the power is just enough to get him around the dunes, but if my husband gets on it, it's way underpowered. My 400EX is perfect for the dunes - my grown son had a great time on it too, along with husband's Z400. I don't think most grown men will be satisfied with a 250EX. Although I'm female, the suspension's not cushy enough for me (my aching back) and I prefer the wider/longer wheelbase of my 400EX as well. So glad I got it.

Pismo is great - I love being able to camp right next to the ocean like that, however, is there EVER a time when the winds don't kick up to the point where you can't even get out of your RV because everything's getting sandblasted?? Every time we go there, that happens. We wound up leaving a day early last time because of it. Hungry Valley is still my favorite.

I said nothing about 10 kids. It was that the girls were 10-12 YEARS OLD.

I was there the second weekend in July and it was fine. May is the worst for wind at Pismo. After that it isn't bad.

Black & Red you just need to start looking at the bike shops for girl you age or find some and take them along. Once there start ride they will be hooked. They will have to get a bike and start riding with you. Just a thought.
Just remember those 10 - 12 year old girls have 40 - 50 year old Fathers that have lots of friends.

how long has your stepson been riding? how exprerienced is he?

th reason i ask is, i'm 14, 5'5, 116lbs(oproximetly), and a highly modded 250ex doesn't have close to the power i need. my blaster dont have enough power iether. my dad's mildly modded shee is just about right for me(witch i was clocked doing 63mhp up comp hill at sand mountain, nv)

Unfortunately for you guys, I've also noticed that wherever we go, if there's women there, they're always with a boyfriend/husband. The fact is it's too hard for girls to go riding by themselves. I went through the longest time of not being able to ride until I remarried a few years ago . . . it sucked! I didn't feel comfortable (and frankly it can be dangerous) to just go out by myself, and there were never any other "riding girls" go to out with either.

You would all go gaga over my son's 21 yr old girlfriend (Angelina Jolie lookalike) She's gorgeous - and rides our 250EX when we go out (when my son's here on leave). But alas . . . she's taken too!
