Are y ou talking about that black rubber coated one with 9 LEDs? No kidding. I guess they make them to be hidden or embedded in some kind of assembly.

Yea, I figured so. I'm just not too sure I want to drill into my plastic to mount them..

They sell several different types you can buy. They have the cheap rubber coated strips. Or the little billet or t mount ones. I finally found a tutorial online that shows how to design the circuit and figures out the resistor you need for you. I may order a combo pack from DigiKey of LEDs and get some resistors and start playing around. The big issue is actually figuring out how to mount them, and what in. I'd like to use some white LEDs ($$$) to fill in the dark spots really close to the bike that the front fenders mask.

I would have loved to do some red accent lighting under the plastics on the frame for out at Pismo...but can't do that anymore it looks like. I'm waiting for DMV to update the VC online. LOL

I know what the CVC says. What I would do is, ask the rangers out there, IF, they are enforcing it. With all the bikes out there running lights in every crevice(it seems) they might not care. One argument for them out there is, the added visibility they provide. Plus, I just look at all the street legal trucks that are running lights like that. To me, there are bigger fish in the sea

Wuddup guys, haven't been in here for a few months. I got a Rincon about 3 weeks ago (in black). So far i've been to Wild Wash off the I15 between Barstow and Victorville and California City 18 miles north of Kramer Junction on the '395. I'm headed out tomorrow for a days riding, probably Stoddard Valley or Wild Wash (again). Not too concerned where....just itching to get out there. My days off are Thurs/Fri so it's nice to miss the weekend crowds Next time i'm going for a couple of days and taking the RV like i did at New Years. Give me a holler if anyone wants to hook up for a ride anytime. I'm obviosly new to the sport and not too familiar with the good areas to go, so suggestions on the good places would be welcome. I live in Colton, near San Bernardino. Ok gonna go smoke me a nice Cigar and let the dogs out.

Just got back from Wild Wash, my bro' and i had a ball. Put around 80miles on it. I had a little incident where i rolled the Rincon over going down a steep, cambered, rocky hillside. It was like slow motion (i was actually at a virtual standstill when this occured), the bike just started leaning too far, i was leaning right over the opposite direction, but to no avail!! All that was going through my mind was "I see sharp rocks below me, i was going to be there with the bike coming my way......600lbs!!!!!". I took the hit, or two hits actually, but i got up with only three minor grazes on my knee, wrist and elbow. I was obviously much more concerned with the Rincon, because as soon as i landed and got hit i was scrambling up (not too frantically, didn't want to look like a ***** in front of my bro' I managed to roll it back over by myself and checked it out. I was happy and impressed that there was no damage at all barring 3 small marks on the right fender. SWEEET!! I was also glad i was wearing my new Answer boots because the bike landed on my foot and calf, but i felt fine. I was and am able to laugh about it, no biggie. Just added to the overall fun of the day.....a little story to tell anyway! I gotta say tho', i am totally impressed with my Rinny. It soaks up the terrain easily and compensates for minor rider errors and those little suprise jumps or ruts that seem to appear very quickly!! Can't wait until next time!
