Probably heading up to Prarie City this Sunday - my wife (only ridden twice) likes the open fields to practice on...

Mammoth Bar was AWESOME last wknd. It was about 85 outside and the river was ice cold. After riding, coming home back into the land of the fog - let's say I'd rather be up in the mountain. Also - I had the only 3 wheeler there (besides my boys ATC70). Always get alot of nostalgia. The track was fun too - but gotta get my rear shock fixed. Almost go whipped by a kid on a banshee - he could take me off the jumps because I HAD to slow down. But I got em' in the straight every time.

450, that sounds great! BUT, 2 hours there, 2hours back on a day trip and we will not be able to leave until 8 or 9 puts a hinderance on a Hollister trip this weekend. To do Hollister, I think we would need to leave by 7 (just not possible this weekend) don't give up on us! One day we will make it to Hollister, heard nothing but good about it. (especially for us newbies) Thinking we will end up at carnegie again, this time we have more time, so we can spend all day.

Anybody going to Carnegie on Saturday? Let me know should get there by 9 or 10 at the latest and don't have any events so we don't have to leave early this time.

Stoddard Valley, I just saw that area on t.v. There was a show showing the Terrible Herbst{sp} and their toys getting ready for the Baja 1000 Where exactly is it

You drive the 15fwy to either stoddard wells road or rattlesnake bar road. Its a cool place...You haul but about 15 miles in and there is a bar/place to eat in the middle of nowhere.

I believe the place you're talking about maybe called the Slash X. We race a Class 14 truck out there in the MDR and MORE races. You can ride off of Outlet Center Drive and Hodge Rd also. I've never ridden my quads out there but it's fun as he!! in the truck!!!

Slash X - hehehe - see my sig.. It only takes one time runnin' out of gas before you get a bigger tank..
We would camp in the parking lot or out at soggy - then head over for a few cold ones at night... I miss that ride.

Now I get stuck with prarie city - no comparison...
