NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Thank for the info about the attorney Jayna.
As far as I know, just from them dis assembling my truck it is up to $11, 663.73. So pretty much it's totalled. Cuz he said that's not including stuff if they run into any problems. More than likely they would. Justin wants me to tell them that I want $25,000 for my truck, missing 3 days of work, medical bills, daycare, pain and suffering.
Why is the system so screwed? If you caused the accident pay for it! Simple as that. I know I couldn't be so lucky.

If you want the name of my attorney I used for everything last year, they are very, very good. They are in downtown Everett. They won't nickel and dime you or steer you wrong. Up to you. Sooner is really better than later.
I can tell you that I am very glad I retained them just knowing what I know now about what the insurance companies(even my own insurance company) will try to put you through to avoid paying anything out, even medical bills. They more than earned the fees they did charge me.
Also consider that they WILL lowball you on the value of your truck, using what they call "comparables". You are NOT required to accept what they offer for your truck, but you will have to do some work to counter offer and make them pay you replacement value.
I only got about half of replacement cost when my Saturn was totaled because I didn't understand how to counter back and what my options really were.
You do have rights and protections, but the insurance companies bank on you not knowing the rules they should be playing by.
Just my two cents.
yup there is riding out there. we went out on the snowmobil trails couple months ago and seen the quad trails on the way up it is blue lake in the pinnoch gifford national forrest. there is a map of the trail on there web site
And don't forget to factor in diminished value...Even if they fix your truck with all EOM parts back to original condition(and good luck fighting with them to get them to do that), it will have a wreck in it's history which will drop it's over all value...

How do I determine what a good price is for a replacement?
Jayna I'm very interested in your attorney's number. I just got off with my insurance company and they are totalling it. She said there is no way $12,000 dollars is worth fixing. Plus my frame might be bent. I have my personal stuff still in my truck and my bling bling wheels are on it right now. Justin is going to try to get there before 5 so he can change the tires. They wont' do it but Justin can in the lot. My insurance company did say exactly what you said. She said after I send her all the receipts and paperwork she can get this moving faster. She said they will look up "comparables". The thing is, is I'm not a big barginer (SP) so that's where I would need the attorney's help. I looked up the value of my truck on bluebook and it came up as $11,000. That was including my 170,000 miles.
