Going back up on Mica Saturday, Idaho side again. Grandson wants to try some of that snow riding. Hope to run into some of you's guys up there. You never know. Turned my tires around last week and went with a friend up the Washington side, seemed to do a lot better. The snow on that side is not packed down by the snowmobiles like it is on the Idaho side. Doesn't get much sled traffic. Seen a nice moose.

Is it just me or does nobody have any Arctic Cats here? If you're going to have any form of competition, you should have my Dad bring his 650 V2, just for more opinions that Poo, Zuke and Bomb. I know he preffered the AC over the Poo 800 for various reasons such as weight, ergonomics, and price tag.

After riding with all brands of atv's i believe its not that one machine is better than another--it comes down to rider ability on a praticular machine. For example after riding in the snow with Kodiak 660 and his rancher "350" and seeing him run circles aroudn all the big bore machines that were there, his rancher was the clear "winner" in the snow. However, with that being said, I know if i would have ridden his rancher I would have been stuck hard as Dave is an amazing rider, and i believe everybody there would agree.
I have ridden in all kinds of terrain and i know i can hang with just about ANYBODY on my machine. But if i were to ride somebody elses suzuki, bomb, AC, Yamaha or whatever there is NO WAY i could do what i do on my machine.
With that being said its great to go out with everybody and see WHO can get how far. Then from there the ribbing gets to start.
We have also ridden with a guy who owns an AC and that thing is fricken amazing in the snow we were riding in. But it also came down to the rider. He wasnt affraid to take it where he did.
Ok ok i will shut up now!!!!!!
Anytime your dad wants to come ride just let us know. THe more the merrier!!!

Gotta agree, after all they do have Suzuki engines in them, not to mention that they have great ground clearance and a great rack system on the newer ones.
I'm still partial to my Vinney. Pretty tough quad to beat for the money. Wiz and I went riding the sleds today and I was thinking that if my quad had the power of my summit 670 I probably would have killed myself numerous times already. I can't believe those crazy guys that put nos on them! One thing about the sleds, there is a way steeper learning curve to them than the quads. I did only roll it once today, so it was a good day. When you gonna get one Kavuday?

I've done things on sleds that I wouldn't even imagine doing on an ATV. I used to have access to several snowmobiles, the one that I enjoyed most was a Polaris 600. There's nothing like standing chest deep in the snow, trying to dig out a buried sled, then trying to climb up onto the seat!
Niskibum, if you only rolled it once then you weren't trying hard enough!
It must be the thought of soft snow that makes people drive sleds like they are invincible!
