Scrambler.....Jays right...if the teeth are sharp its worn out and shame on the guys at all sport for not reafirming that....and my guess is if the sprocket is so worn the teeth are sharp the chain is most likely shot also...not a biggie they are both wear items that will need to be replaced at some point any way...
There is general maintance that will help longevity but there going to go sometime....(will it hurt to ride them worn out?? ...no...but at some point it will strand you on the trail...and a broken chain at the wrong time could really cause a bad situation...
as far as setting valve lash I think I would rather let somone else do that but if your a motor head its not dificult to do as I have done it mny times on my race car I just dont like doing it...
All Sport is much better than they used to be the new service mgr is much more helpfull and has alot more on the ball than the last one...I do not like dealing with the guys at Mack's cuz the parts dept has not clue and will rape ya on part to make up for what they give away on the bikes.....Butch or Glen at All sport on the other hand are very sharp and will give you options ....not to mention you get a pretty good discount on stuff you buy there if you buy a bike or sled from them...
CDL and AllSport have the same owner but CDL Polaris will be more competitive on bike cuz thats all the sell...Allsport does it all so they try to get a premium....I bought my 330 last week from All Sport because I baught the preveios 3 from CDL and wanted to share the luv...All sport takes VERRY good care of me...so Glen got this deal...Im not to hip on Sam I think she trys a little tooo hard and that used car salesman feeling will have me walin every time...but Glen and the other fella are straight shooters....
M.A.S.H. has a great service dept and so does Carls cycle near Fancher on Sprauge...BUT...they will probobly mark up the parts if they are Polaris or Suzuki and any other brand unless they can cross it to the aftermarket..but those smaller speciality shops do try harder in my opinion because they have to to compete
Pastor....you pot shiner...lol....I have yet to see those lost lines of Polaris bikes waiting for service you keep refering to...you sure they wernt Bombs?? ....funny....Ive had the same bikes for the last nearly 5 years with NO issues to speak of and you have bought and sold what 3 or 4 now because of the bikes letting you down when you need um...just an observation...
We went to Leavenworth for the long weekend and took the bikes....had a ball and put quite a few miles on...pretty chilly but not as wet as it looks like it may have been here...monster views up there...to bad so much of the area is already shut down to quads...strange...motor cycles were ok but no quads....

Been awhile since i posted on here as we havent done much riding. Had plans to go to liberty lake ORV park on saturday to get heather some seat time but come to find out i had severed a bolt on the back a-arm. Least i know what the squeaking was from. Anyway-went to CDA polaris saturday around 9 and come to find out there are no mechanics in. Well mike grabs one of his sales guys (Brad-i believe is his name) And asks if he can drill out the bolt. He was like sure. Well not having the right tools as the mechanics lock everythign up he jerry rigged something to get the severed screw out. After about an hour he got it loose and got the new bolt put back in and now we are ready to go. DOn't know too many other shops that would have taken the time to get the bolt out with no mechanics there.
So thanks CDA polaris for taking care of us AGAIN.
Hope everyone had a great weekend

Ragged...The looonnnggg lines of bikes to be worked on was at Allsports. Too many bikes to count. The point I was making was that they were telling me about dependability with a back lot full of bikes to work on. I wasn't born last night...I realize with being the #1 in sales you are going to have alot of stuff to fix but still...Don't forget I ALMOST bought a 800EFI and after I went with the Bomb...promised to go easy on polaris from here on out. However....Ragged is a tempting target with his Polaris campaign. The reason why i have sold 3 or 4 bikes is simple...never satisfied. I will say this....the Bomb has impressed me more than any other bike previously owned. I feel like I am home with Bombardier.
Levenworth...I have heard that there is some great riding in the Wenatchee Nat. forest,,,,never been there though.

good times good times........I did nearly find that if you dont get out of the throttle on the ol 800 you could really do so damage to the rear bumper...it was close and scared me more than my brother...he was the one riding it...
ditto ....CDL polaris service dept. is top notch...they have one or two new guys I dont know yet but the service mgr is top shelf...
Pastor...my guess is you must have been looking at the long line of new bikes that were sold and being preped to go to there new homes...

That's the problem with Poo riders, they seem to have a selective memory.

I saw in the newspaper today that the Forest Service is going to begin printing maps with designated riding areas defined. Anyone out there know how this will affect us? A guy recently told me that there were "tons" of closures in the Colville Nat. Forest. Some of my favorite riding has always been there. Recently, I discovered N. Idaho...I hope the same thing doesn't happen there. As I ride through the woods I "rarely" see an area that could be determined as "damaged". Most of these areas that are well worn are thoroughfares and major travel areas to trucks, cars, etc. What are these guys talking about??? What good are the woods if you can't get in there?

Apparently denial ain't just a river in Egypt. Three broken quads in the last couple of pages, and all three are Poos. Stands to reason, more weight, harder on suspensions. You can see the pic on my profile too, I'm not exactly easy on mine either. Over three thousand miles on mine now, half with heavy 27"xtrs, not a single broken part yet. Sorry, not buying the "worlds toughest atv" promo. Don't get me wrong, I know mine will break someday, especially with the xtr's on it, but so far it's been as dependable or more than every other quad I've ridden with, can't say that for all the Poos. In fact, the only quad I've seen break a part in the last three years was a Poo. Now let's see, where did I leave that shovel?
