Default yzf 450 dune performance

My brother and some relatives went up to the dunes today in st anthony Idaho and saw a yzf 450 run. My unlce has a banshee with toomey t-6 pipes, milled head, fmf reeds, and aftermarket airbox. He ran against the 450 and lost by 2 quad lengths up choke cherry. One of my friends rides a predator with pipe, K&N clamp on kit, and dynojet kit and he got beat by about 9 quad lengths. The raptor with the pipe got beat even worse. These races are coming straight from the losers who are all family and they were dang impressed with the 450. My unlce said the banshee is going bye bye.

That's about the same results I had. But I'll just let everyone eventually see on there own
That way I don't have to defend myself when someone in denial says i'm full of ****...
Because I wouldn't have believed it If I hadn't seen it (felt it) for myself..

Ya my unlce finally realized that a piped banshee is not going to do it anymore. Sure you will find banshees that are ported and have a lot of internal motor mods that will beat them but then you lose reliability and it's not as trail friendly. This yfz 450 is an awesome machine.

Thats probably a good idea there 250r4life! When it happens to them, they will be forced to believe. Course, knowing some people out there, they'll blame it on weather, or not tuned right, or "tires are gettin down there" ..................something!

You guys need to put a stop to this thread, It is just killing me (J/K), I have been watching the weather at Glamis for over a week and it is hangin in the 110's. IM dieing to run this thing in the sand.

No one wants to beleive it is as good as it is, but soon everyone will either own, or know someone that owns one and will find out for themselvs how nice it really is. Not taking away from any other sport machine out there. Let the sport grow!!!!
