you can let it rest on a carpet on the frame, just like warrior said, dont let things move around. thats where damage occurs. and dont go nuts tying it down. every time you stop, do the walkaround. check lights, tires, safety chains, hitch, tiedowns, it only takes a minute.
make SURE the gas is off on a raptor!

the frame should be fine as long as u dont hit any huge potholes.

no sorry, no pics. Just picture the quad up on an angle with the front end weight on a bar right under the front of the frame. kinda like if its trying to wheely over an obstacle and didnt make it and bottomed out. similar to that. the front end of frame is bottomed out on the gate.

 

and btw, the frame was resting on a rug folded four layers thick.
