Actually it doesn't help. I have looked for a picture and can't find one, so I am just going to order one and see. I want it for the advance myself. I was just curious on the other...

Ward, do you see where the recess is atop the key that I made there? THats where the flywheel comes in contact with the key and it lets the flywheel rotate further counterclockwise effectively advancing the timing. Advancing the timing will create more cylinder pressure....what compression and fuel are you running now?

I'm running methanol on a 12.5/1 static comp ratio.

I kinda see what your drawing, I just can't figure out if the adv key is more narrow than than the stock key. It doesn't really matter though... I guess.

It is machined just like the stock key on the lower part that sets in the crank....but the top has an indention on 1 side too allow the flywheel too rotate counterclockwise a little more, thus advancing the timing.
